A skull mass such as this has a limited differential including:

• metastasis
• multiple myeloma
• primary osseous tumor (e.g. osteosarcoma)
• dural tumor (e.g. meningioma or hemangiopericytoma)

In this instance, it was pathologically proven to be multiple myeloma.
