Subclavian artery origin is difficult to visualize on ultrasound. Retrograde flow in the vertebral artery with an ipsilateral feeble pulse is diagnostic for occlusion at subclavian artery origin. This patient underwent angiography confirming the occlusion at the origin of the right subclavian artery (images not available).
