CT findings reveal multifocal densely calcified brain lesions of the left frontal and temporal lobes. There is negative mass effect on the anterior horn of the left lateral ventricle. Extensive calvarial thickening is also demonstrated.
These features are suggestive of multifocal brain stones due to densely calcified cavernous venous malformations.
This patient presented with agitation and psychosis of about 20-year duration.
