Renal colic due to sloughed papilla

Discussion:

A diabetic male presented with right renal colic. The ultrasound findings raised a possibility of a sloughed papilla from the right renal lower calyx resulting in vesicoureteric junction obstruction.

CT urography (not uploaded, no copyright) was done later which suggested right renal lower calx papillary necrosis with sloughed papilla at the right vesicoureteric junction.
