The trachea is severely narrowed and displaced to the right, likely from a superior mediastinal mass such as a goiter. Further assessment with neck ultrasound could be performed.
The lungs are clear. No pleural fluid or pneumothorax. Heart size on upper limit of normal. No mediastinal lymphadenopathy.
Case Discussion
The patient had a known large retrosternal goiter, larger on the left side.
