Comminuted fracture of distal phalanx of the great toe with severely displaced bony fragments.

Case Discussion

The distal phalanx fractures are usually minimally displaced and are treated conservatively. However, in complex cases, surgical intervention may be required with nailbed repair and/or Kirschner wire fixation.
