There is a 5 x 8 mm sharply-marginated cystic structure with a thin capsule is centered over the dorsal aspect of the capitolunate articulation, with a pedicle emanating from the distal fibers of the scapholunate interosseous ligament.
Medial and volar subluxation of the extensor carpi ulnaris tendon from its groove in the distal ulna could be due to the tearing of the ECU tendon subsheath.
Minimal effusion is present at radioscaphoid and intercrpal joint spaces.
