Info
Lunate dislocation: the normal alignment of the distal radius, carpus and metacarpals should remain normal with the exception of the lunate which will be displaced and rotated volarly.
Case Discussion
A lunate dislocation is an uncommon traumatic wrist injury that requires prompt management and surgical repair. The lunate is displaced and rotated volarly. The rest of the carpal bones are in a normal anatomic position in relation to the radius.
