Neurovascular compression syndrome - with facial palsy

Presentation

Facial nerve palsy on the left.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female

An aberrant loop of vessel is seen compressing the left facial nerve in the cerebellopontine angle cistern. It is seen juxtaposed inbetween the facial and vestibulocochlear nerves, mostly the anterior inferior cerebellar artery 1.
