Narrowing of the descending aorta is at the level of where the ligamentum arteriosum inserts into the descending aorta.
Note the dilated intercostal arteries, receiving blood from collaterals from the subclavian arteries and supplying blood to the distal aorta.
No rib notching detected.
Subendocardial enhancement in the region of the left anterior descending artery in keeping with myocardial infarction, of uncertain age.
