The abdominal aorta shows aneurysmal dilatation, and thrombosis is present from the infra SMA abdominal aorta to the bilateral common femoral arteries, with distal runoff from the inferior epigastric artery.
The right kidney is atrophic due to arterial insertion involvement.
Ring artifact is evident.
Case Discussion
Features on CT images are compatible with the aortoiliac occlusive disease, also known as Leriche syndrome, which refers to complete occlusion of the distal aorta.
