Sagittal and coronal transvaginal ultrasound shows two subcentimeter echogenic masses in the endometrial cavity; one in the lower uterine segment and the other in the fundus. An incidental 4 cm leiomyoma is seen in the posterior fundus. Color Doppler imaging shows questionable vascular stalk to the lower polyp.
