Case Discussion
Head trauma is common. CT plays a key first line role. Skull radiographs are no longer indicated in adults, but may be obtained occasionally. Intracranial hemorrhage, extra-axial collections and fractures are the main findings to assess for on CT. A small proportion of skull fractures are depressed in nature.
