Presentation
The left lower anterior abdominal wall painful swelling for the previous few days.
Patient Data

At the site of swelling pointed by the patient (left iliac fossa), there is an irregularly shaped collection (about 35 x 30 x 30 mm) involving anterior abdominal wall muscles. An eccentrically located tiny calcification in the collection. Pericollection hypervascularity.
No intraperitoneal extension of the collection.
Case Discussion
The case shows anterior abdominal wall intramuscular small collection which was the site of pain. A tiny echogenic focus in the collection raised the possibility of cysticercosis.
Incision and drainage were done. Histopathology revealed cysticercosis. (Verbal communication with the operating surgeon)
