Sagittal radial styloid fracture that goes from the distal articular surface and sagittal to the distal metaphysis.
Other bones are otherwise normal.
No dissociation or dislocation.
Ulnar styloid process is normal.
Case Discussion
Chauffeur fractures are intraarticular fractures of the radial styloid process secondary to trauma to the back of the wrist or from forced dorsiflexion and abduction.
Findings associated with this kind of fractures are:
- scapholunate dissociation
- scaphoid-perilunate dislocation
- ulnar styloid fracture
