Greater arc injury:
Displaced transverse fracture through the waist of the scaphoid.
Small osseous fragments represent intercarpal ligament avulsions.
Palmar luxation of the lunate with displacement of the adjacent flexor tendons and the median nerve.
Case Discussion
Greater arc injuries are perilunate fracture-dislocations usually the result of high-velocity trauma such as in this case.
