Info

Empty endometrial canal. Both ovaries are normal.
A thin-walled, right adnexal cyst with peripheral echogenicity; no cardiac activity. There is a small amount of free fluid with echoes in the pelvis and right adnexa.
Case Discussion
A laparotomy was done, which demonstrated an ectopic pregnancy in a left tube in contrast to the ultrasound finding of right adnexal pathology, which is most likely a hemorrhagic para-ovarian cyst.
