At the site of pain pointed by the patient, there is a lobulated, anechoic, thin-walled structure abutting the proximal aspect of the pisiform. Its neck appears to be directed to the piso-triquetral joint. There is no vascularity in the lesion. The lesion does not abut adjacent ulnar nerve.
The rest of the examination in the region of pain was normal.
Case Discussion
Findings of pisotriquetral joint ganglion. The ganglion cysts are the most common lesions in the hand and the wrist. The most common location is the dorsum of the wrist.
