Case Discussion
A meningoencephalocele is a herniated brain tissue, meninges and CFS through cranial defect. It is a rare find in the adult population, more commonly found in the pediatric age group where there is congenital non-fusion of the cranial floor.
In adult patients, it is typically associated with a traumatic event or manipulation iatrogenic site. This patient did not present the typical symptoms, and was considered an incidental finding in MRI.
