Mild degenerative changes including spiking of tibial spines and quadriceps enthesopathy.
No acute abnormality.
Popliteal muscle sesamoid bone (cyamella) seen in the lateral aspect of femoral condyle.
Case Discussion
Cyamella is sesamoid bone of popliteus muscles.
Best appreciated on AP view on plain radiograph, as opposed to fabella which is mainly seen on lateral view.
