Info

There is a complex collection in the right adnexa surrounding and inseparable from the right ovary, which in itself is normal in size. There is an associated thick walled tubular component with internal low level echoes, likely representing an abnormally distended right fallopian tube.
The left ovary and uterus are normal.
Case Discussion
Typical sonographic appearance of a tubo-ovarian abscess.
