Left petrous apex lesion demonstrating:

  • high signal intensity on T1 and T2 WI
  • dark rim on all pulse sequences (hemosiderin rim)
  • no diffusion restriction
  • no signal drop on fat suppression sequence (no fat contents)
  • no evidence of aggressive behavior
