Multiple cysticerci with typical rice grain calcification appearance are observed in soft tissue. Findings are suggestive of cysticercosis.

Case Discussion

Cysticercosis is a parasitic soft tissue infection caused by the ingestion of Taenia solium eggs. In skeletal muscle, the cysticerci have a characteristic rice grain calcification appearance.
