Presentation
Pain in right groin on mobilizing. Complicated medical history. X-ray to rule out OA.
Patient Data
There is a 7 cm well-defined bony expansion of the right ischium. The cortex is intact. No fracture.
Old avulsion fracture of the right ischial tuberosity which has united with new bone/heterotopic bone formation.
Old avulsion fracture of the right ischial tuberosity which has united with new bone/heterotopic bone formation.
Narrowing of the ischio-femoral space and the new bone formation may be causing ischio-femoral impingement.
Incidental right trochanteric bursa and a small right inguinal hernia containing fat.
