L3/L4 destructive change with paraspinal abscess, with focal kyphosis. Some reactive sclerosis inferior endplate L2. Very large iliopsoas enhancing collections with septations and some calcifications, extending into left thigh. Mild retroperitoneal adenopathy.
Case Discussion
Dramatic and advanced presentation of Pott disease with severe tuberculous spondylitis with cold abscess extension into both iliopsoas muscles and extending into the left thigh. A few small calcifications in these collections is typical for tuberculous abscess.
