Cross-fused renal ectopia in a morbidly obese individual. The normal left kidney is vertically oriented. The right kidney lies inferiorly and horizontally fused to the lower pole of the left kidney.

This is case demonstrates the L-shaped (McDonald and McClellan classification of crossed renal ectopias) crossed fused renal ectopia.
