Axial contrast-enhanced CT images demonstrate multiple prostate abscesses characterized by hypoattenuating regions with peripheral rim enhancement. The abscesses are confined within the prostate capsule and the entire prostate gland is enlarged. There is a smooth thickening of the bladder wall. No evidence of periprostatic fat stranding to suggest the periprostatic spread of infection.
