Dr Michael Carey graduated Medicine from the University of Wollongong and has obtained post graduate master’s degrees from the University of Sydney and the University of Queensland. He completed Interventional Radiology fellowship at the John Hunter Hospital.
Dr Carey is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologist. He is also an active member of the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia (IRSA), the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE) and the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).
Dr Carey in passionate about the role of Interventional Radiology in Oncology and endovascular treatments for painful conditions.
