Thickening and increased signal in inferior glenohumeral ligament.

Case Discussion

MRI of the shoulder demonstrates thickening of the inferior glenohumeral ligament which, especially in this clinical setting, suggests adhesive capsulitis

In the present case, the patient’s symptoms did not improve with conservative treatment involving physical therapy and corticosteroid injections, and at last follow-up, the patient was scheduled for closed manipulation under anesthesia with the possibility of arthroscopic lysis of adhesions in the future.
