Presentation
Seizure.
Patient Data

CT of the brain demonstrates absence of corpus callosus. Interhemispheric sulci reaches the roof of the third ventricle. Dilated occipital horns of the lateral ventricles (colpocephaly).
Periventricular nodes of grey matter (best seen along the margins of the occipital horns of the lateral ventricles).

Subependymal grey matter heterotopia (red arrows).
Case Discussion
Agenesis of the corpus callosus is developmental anomaly when the corpus callosus does not form completely. This condition can associated with a big list of another CNS and non-CNS anomalies, including grey matter heterotopia as in this case.
