Presentation

A patient with a history of Roux-en-Y gastric bypass has been referred for crampy abdominal pain.

Target appearance at the entrance of distal jejunal loop to proximal part of the jejuno-jejunal anastomosis is seen.

Roux-en-Y gastric bypass is seen.

There is a hypodense lesion with discontinued peripheral nodular enhancement in the right liver lobe compatible with a hemangioma.

Case Discussion

Jejunojejunal intussusception is an uncommon long-term complication after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. It could cause abdominal pain and obstruction. CT scan is believed to be highly sensitive.
