Presentation
Cough and weakness. Diplopia.
Patient Data

Large left mediastinal mass obscuring the aortic contour. Lungs and pleural spaces are clear. Heart size normal.
CT recommended to assess the anterior mediastinal mass.

Lobulated soft tissue mass measuring approx 9 x 5 x 6cm in the anterior mediastinum and extending to the left. No internal calcification or evidence of invasion into the mediastinal structures. No mediastinal or axillary lymphadenopathy.
No lung nodules are seen.
Conclusion
Lobulated anterior mediastinal mass is consistent with thymoma.
Case Discussion
The patient was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and underwent thymectomy which confirmed B3 thymoma.
