Mild ectatic dilatation of the thoracic aorta. The non-contrast phase demonstrates crescentic intramural hyperdensity within the arch and proximal descending aorta, in keeping with intramural hematoma. This corresponds to severely irregular and ulcerated atheroma on the angiographic phase.
Case Discussion
The patient was transferred to another hospital for management and lost to follow-up.
