Distal fallopian tube blocks with fluid-filled dilatation of the tubes and without peritoneal spillage are noted bilaterally, consistent with hydrosalpinx.

Case Discussion

Hydrosalpinx refers to a dilated fluid-filled fallopian tube, filling with contrast and with the absence of free spillage, most commonly a sequela of adhesions from pelvic inflammatory disease and may cause pelvic pain or infertility.
