Bucket-handle tear of the medial meniscus with double PCL sign.
A high T2 and PD signal superficial to intact medial collateral ligament, reflecting sprain.
Case Discussion
This case shows the classic appearance of bucket-handle tear of medial meniscus. It shows the following signs:
- absent bow tie sign
- meniscal fragment in the intercondylar notch
- double PCL sign (bucket-handle tears of the medial meniscus)
- double anterior horn / flipped meniscus
- disproportionately small posterior horn
