Info

There is evidence of anteromedial displacement of the tibia in relation to the femur, associated with attenuated joint spaces more appreciated along the medial tibiofemoral compartment.
There are old fractures of the lateral and posterior aspects of the tibia, associated with peri-articular heterotopic ossification which is seen more in relation to the medial femoral condyle.
Case Discussion
Knee dislocation is uncommon. It occurs due to traumatic disruption of the articulation between the femur and tibia, usually due to forced hyperextension.
