The right ureter appears dilated proximally (with mild hydronephrosis) and retrocaval in position then it passes around the site of confluence of the left renal vein with the IVC with the left renal vein appearing retroaortic in position features representing circumcaval ureter type 1 with coincidence of retroaortic left renal vein.
