Tooth-like bony structure with central lucency is seen in the left inferior nasal cavity proper, just posterior to the nasal vestibule, representing an ectopic intra-nasal tooth.
Bulky bilateral tonsils and adenoids are also seen causing obliteration of the nasopharynx.
Case Discussion
On a CT, tooth-like or tooth-equivalent density lesion with centrally located pulp cavity are highly helpful in discriminating ectopic nasal teeth from differentials like radiopaque foreign bodies and rhinoliths.
