Chest x-ray performed for chest pain.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years old
Gender: Female
Modality: X-ray

Bone lesion with stippled calcification with a narrow zone of transition in the right humeral metaphysis.

 

Case Discussion

Appearances in keeping with an en(chondroma) of the humerus.

This is a benign cartilageneous tumour of the medullary cavity, They typically occur in the metaphyseal regions of long bones.
