The right facial nerve canal is expanded by a soft tissue mass in its vertical mastoid segment. There is dehiscence of the bone between the mass and the external acoustic meatus. 

Case Discussion

The patient went on to have a resection which histologically confirmed the diagnosis of a facial nerve schwannoma.
