Multiple metallic density pellets are seen projecting over the lower abdomen and pelvis with pneumoperitoneum. Subcutaneous emphysema is seen in the right gluteal region and proximal thigh and subtle air is also noted in the left proximal thigh.
Case Discussion
Unfortunately, this patient did not makeup and expired within an hour of presentation in the emergency department.
