Presentation
Past history of splenectomy.
Patient Data

Enlarged liver showing homogeneous abnormal very low signal intensity causing blooming artefact.
The spleen was surgically removed with a splenule noted showing abnormal low signal intensity.
Diffuse low signal intensity also affecting the pancreas with no pancreatic lesions.
The lower thoracic cuts show cardiomegaly with low signal affecting the myocardium.
Congested IVC and hepatic veins, mild ascites and bilateral pleural effusions.
Case Discussion
Picture impressive of hemochromatosis affecting liver, pancreas, splenule and myocardium. Congested IVC and hepatic veins is probably due to iron overload induced cardiomyopathy.
