Presentation

History of right knee trauma two months back.

Patient Data

Age: 7 years
Gender: Male
mri

A fracture of the posterior part of the lateral femoral condyle is noted.

No significant involvement of the physis is noted.

The rest of the bones are normal.

Mild knee joint effusion with synovial thickening is noted.

Case Discussion

Hoffa's fracture is a coronal-oriented fracture of the femoral condyles. Lateral condyle is more commonly involved as in this case 1.
