The case demonstrates the criteria of idiopathic intracranial hypertension:
- prominent subarachnoid space around the optic nerves
- papilledema with flattening of the posterior sclera
- empty sella turcica, enlarged Meckel cave, prominent arachnoid pits within the temporal bone
- enlarged CSF space around the oculomotor nerve within the cavernous sinus
