Info

There is a dense foreign body with metallic artifact penetrated within right eye anterior inferior vitreous and related uveo-scleral layer and evidence of irregular margin and tear within right eye uveo-scleral layer.
Case Discussion
The intraocular foreign body is an ophthalmology emergency because it can be a source of infection and endophthalmitis. MRI is contraindicated and the screening imaging method of choice is orbital MDCT but an ocular ultrasound exam can be also considered if it is comfortable for the patient.
