Kang grading system of cervical canal stenosis

  • grade 0: normal

  • grade 1: obliteration of >50% of the subarachnoid space, without any spinal cord deformity

  • grade 2: central canal stenosis with spinal cord deformity

  • grade 3: increased T2 signal in the cord at the level of compression
