No radiopaque foreign body is seen.

Sclerosis, thinning and irregularity of the navicular bone are seen highly suggestive of Kohler disease. 

Case Discussion

This is a 5-year-old child complaining of right foot pain. X-ray of the foot was requested, and demonstrates thinning (wafer like) and patchy necrosis of the navicular bone consistent with Köhler disease. Typically seen during childhood (4-6 years) with male predilection.
