Large right inguinal hernia - pelvic x-ray

Patient is rotated to the right. No fracture or mal-alignment.
Large right inguinal hernia containing distended small bowel loops. No distended loops of bowel in the pelvis however. No evidence of free gas or pneumotosis. Pelvic phleboliths noted.
Case Discussion
Tha patient had a known inguinal hernia but clinically it had increased in size. It was able to be manually reduced and the pain settled.
