Normal radiographic features of the lumbar spine.
A well-corticated triangular-shaped bone structure is noted at the anterior upper corner of L4 vertebral body, in keeping with limbus vertebra.

Typical appearance of limbus vertebra in lateral view lumbar spine x-ray. It is the unfused secondary ossification center of the vertebral body, most commonly located at the upper anterior corner of vertebral body.
