Presentation
Pain and swelling on the left side of his face in the mandible after a fall, worse on opening and closing the mouth.
Patient Data

The X-ray shows a non-displaced fracture at the left mandible angle.
Case Discussion
The mandible is the second most common site of facial fractures and the mandibular angle is the most common site of mandibular fractures.
In such cases, most doctors when they notice that there is no significant displacement of the fracture, fix the jaws with some correct occlusal position is adequate.
Indeed, it is not complicated, but the period of fixation and the possibility of renewing the fracture is sometimes possible.
So, for better safety and good results, a small surgical intervention and internal fixation by titanium mesh and screws may be better.
